I’m often asked by friends, family, and colleagues ‘how do I maintain a healthy diet?’ They wonder if I ever miss certain foods. And, ‘how do I prevent getting bored by eating the same foods?’
Well, a healthy diet has been a part of my life for over three decades. But, I learned over the years that a little creativity goes a long way in a healthy diet. I had to learn how to hack unhealthy foods, like traditional soul food, and prepare delicious, healthy meals for my family.
Healthy, food hacking means replacing unhealthy foods and ingredients, with healthier alternatives. Once you get the hang of how to food hack, you’re on your way to becoming a healthy, food hacker.
