This One Change Can Kick-Start Weight Loss

I wish that it wasn’t so complicated trying to make sense of all the health and nutrition information we receive on a daily basis. As consumers, we’re told that a healthy way of eating is best, certain types of foods are bad, and exercising is a must. Then, we’re left to figure out this information on our own. But, what if we could change just one thing in our diet that helps us lose weight and become healthier?

Sounds almost too good to be true, right? Well, according to an article in the Annals of Internal Medicine, adding more fiber to your diet can offer two-fold benefits: losing weight and improving overall health.

The key is to simply focus on eating more foods that are high in fiber: fruits, vegetables, and whole grains; enough to meet the daily recommendation of 30 grams of fiber per day.
